About the role
We are seeking a Maintenance and Operations Officer to join our operations team.
This position calls for an individual with outstanding attention to detail, a strong focus on safety and preventive management, and a proactive approach to maintaining our facilities at a high standard of functionality.
This is a permanent full-time position, with a roster that will require availability across weekend hours.
As Maintenance and Operations Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Perform daily and preventative maintenance reviews at Coral Sea Marina and associated facilities.
- Document all maintenance requests and completed tasks using our online reporting system.
- Maintain property inventories to track grounds and maintenance equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained.
- Ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks to highest standards.
- Undertake maintenance tasks such as painting, sanding, and repairs within your skill set.
- Proactively report hazards, injuries, or incidents and mitigate risks where feasible.
To be considered for the position of Maintenance and Operations Officer, you are required to have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar marina industry position
- Open C Class Drivers License
- Ideally already have or have willingness to obtain Coxswains Certificate, Current Senior First Aid and CPR, Marine Radio License
- Capability to recognise problem areas and utilise initiative and effective communication to address them.
- Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Capacity to work autonomously with a focus on finding solutions.
