Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is part of our hard working and dedicated Maintenance team at St Vincent’s Lismore.
In this role you will be responsible for completing a wide range of maintenance cleaning duties including:
- Cleaning internal and external building structures such as windows, walls, eaves, vents, guttering, signage etc throughout the whole facility;
- Tracking and reporting on maintenance issues, and assisting with minor repairs activities as directed;
- Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as required;
- Working collaboratively with other general services departments including housekeeping, gardening and catering; and,
- Performing regular quality and safety checks of equipment used and following all work health and safety regulations.
This is a permanent part-time role up to 30 hours per week, based at St Vincent’s Lismore campus.

Your skills & experience
- Great time management skills, including being able to get to work on time and work independently to complete all duties;
- Able to undertake labour intensive and physically demanding internal and external maintenance cleaning duties for large private healthcare facility, including a hospital, aged care facility, and child care facility.
- Excellent people skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of patients, residents, caregivers and staff;
- Knowledge of work health and safety principles or willingness to learn;
- Previous maintenance cleaning experience desired, but not essential.
