Our State Government client is seeking an AO4 Motor Vehicle Assessor to join the team on a temporary basis. The role, based in Brisbane CBD, will be for an initial period until end of June 2024 with good prospects for extension. Working 38 hours per week, the casual hourly rate of pay will be $54.34 per hour plus super.

About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, a core part of the role will be undertaking assessments on returned lease vehicles and coordinating/negotiating repairs with suppliers. You will possess a high level of competency in desk assessment of mechanical and body repair quotations. You will also be assisting and advising internal stakeholders on vehicle maintenance and application processes and procedures.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in the automotive industry with sound knowledge of motor vehicle repair and servicing requirements.
- Ability to diagnose and problem solve a variety of automotive issues on a wide range of current and late model vehicle makes.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Sound proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new systems/processes easily
