Become the future of Norske Skog – Boyer
We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for our Boiler and Thermo-Mechanical Pulp Plant on a permanent full-time contract. This is an opportunity for someone with strong people and leadership skills to support the maintenance of our Boiler and Thermo-Mechanical Pulp Plant Number 3. Your focus will be to ensure optimal and cost-effective use of all maintenance resources including preventative maintenance, coordination of shutdowns, equipment installations and spares refurbishment. You will develop and manage maintenance programs that focus on both preventative and predictive work and have the ability to solve complex problems with a focus on practical solutions. This role will participate in an on-call roster and has the opportunity to work hands on alongside your team where required.
What you need to succeed
- Demonstrated proactive commitment to health, safety and the environment
- A degree, diploma or appropriate trades qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial engineering experience
- Capacity to provide trades with positive leadership
- Strong problem solving and fault-finding ability
- Experience with coordination of maintenance activities and cost optimisation
- Specific experience in the following areas is highly regarded: Hydraulics and pneumatics, team leadership, planning and scheduling, heavy industrial, rotating machinery.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated initiative
