Maintenance Coordinator - Darwin NT

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to establish new operations and opportunities with our third-party maintenance contractors in the Northern Territory and South Australia Terminals. Reporting remotely to the Regional Maintenance Superintendent, you will be required to:
- Champion a safety culture which promotes, creates, and maintains a Zero Harm approach in all aspects of the operation.
- Manage maintenance contractors to execute maintenance plans to achieve 100% scheduled adherence.
- Prioritise and manage equipment breakdowns and defects to minimise impacts and delays to the business.
- Manage quality control of workmanship and reliability.
- Manage maintenance systems and process to ensure 100% compliance.
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productively, efficiency, safety, reliability and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with site coordinators, leaders, management, internal and external stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills which will support your ability to drive customer outcomes. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Front line leadership experience.
- Planning experience in scheduling or project management (preferred).
- Trade qualifications and experience in heavy vehicle, mobile plant mobilisation, or Diesel Fitting (mandatory).
- Proven track record working in heavy industry maintenance industry.
- IT proficient and experience in Maintenance Systems, Microsoft products and SAP.
- Ability to lead and influence others to drive outcomes.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to communicate cross functionally.
- High level of stakeholder management, consulting, negotiation, and customer service skills.
