Working in our Maintenance department and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory maintenance team.
Essential selection criteria include:
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in automation and control: VSD, PLC control systems, HMIs and Scada
- Reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly collaborative and a team player
- Demonstrated skills/experience in relation to safety including risk management (e.g. LOTO, Take 5, Permit to Work, near miss reporting etc)
The ideal candidate (desirable but not essential):
- Experience working in a FMCG environment
- Experience working on packaging equipment or FMCG experience in meat processing equipment
- Experience working in food manufacturing factories with an understanding of processes and hygiene requirements
- Some experience with the following equipment product filling, meat emulsion/mixing, high speed packaging (case packers, sealers, labellers etc), or check weighing/metal detectors.Automation experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell (CompactLogix, Studio 500 etc), some Siemens, Omron, Modbus etc.
