About The Role:Our maintenance department is critical to our operations at our Tullamarine Plant.
Our Maintenance Electricians provide shift coverage for production and attend breakdowns, complete repairs and perform general maintenance.
We are flexible on shift selection for the right person. We operate:
- Day Shift: Monday to Friday (7.00am to 3.00pm)
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday (3.00pm to 11.00pm)
- Night Shift: Starting Monday night at 11.00pm & finishing Saturday morning at 7.00am
This is an all-rounder role and we’re looking for someone who can work as a team and roll their sleeves up to make a real difference to our site.
Key Job Responsibilities:The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Working in a safe manner and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Completing electrical maintenance repairs, including routine maintenance, testing and calibration on production equipment.
- Carrying out modification and new installation works on equipment.
- Work with the production team to support and assist them.
- Adhering to Engineering ISO9002 Quality Assurance system and Food Environmental Policy requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following characteristics:
- Able to work with a focus on Health, Safety and Quality.
- Be a fully qualified electrician with A Grade License with sound experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a team or unsupervised.
- Have good fault finding and communication skills.
- Have a good understanding in Lean & TPM.
