Beef City is one of JBS sites located at Toowoomba / Darling Downs area.
Beef City Processing Plant is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician that possesses a desire to join our dynamic Maintenance team.
The position is full time - Monday to Friday including optional overtime on Saturdays where available. Our conditions of employment are one of the best in the industry.
The role’s responsibilities include but not limited to:
•To ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.
•To ensure that all work is carried out to the Company and requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
•Demonstrated ability to identify faults through the use of fault-finding techniques with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems.
About you:
•Experience in the meat industry will be highly regarded however not essential.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated continuous improvement approach and ability to support a broad variety of mechanical work.
•A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a dedicated approach to work and ability to communicate at all levels.
•Ability to work in a team environment and independently. Ability to work at other shifts.
Remuneration (weekly) :
- First 6 months:
$ 1547.89 (wages) + $30.47 (tool allowance)
- After 6 months’ probation:
$ 1635.99 (wages) + $30.47 (tool allowance)
This sits under the Beef City Maintenance Enterprise Agreement 2020.
