The organisation is a recently established organisation making an immediate impact within the building industry. Our Office is based in Western Sydney servicing all of Sydney, specialising in Large Projects including Commercial Construction, Commercial Fit outs, Commercial Make-Goods, Infrastructure works, and Temporary site shed installations. Although being a recently established organisation the owner/director has 15 years’ experience owning a construction company and over 20 years’ experience within the building industry.
The Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a fulltime basis. The role is predominately Monday to Friday; however, optional overtime and Saturdays are available. This role requires a full time roll at one of our main Client’s yards at Erskine Park in Sydney’s Western Suburbs. We require someone who has a hands-on attitude and is ready to take charge to ensure the job gets completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate has practical experience in all aspects of electrical work; however, this role will focus primarily on maintenance of existing buildings and sheds to enable them to head directly back to site in a working order. We require someone that can work independently and communicate effectively. Job Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled preventative electrical maintenance
- General electrician repairs and servicing inclusive of all faults finding.
- Potentially attending to electrical issues on site from time to time
- Attend to client service work orders.
- Communicate with clients and QA Electrical management
- Complete required paperwork
- Work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and deliverable's
Our ideal candidate will process the following:
- Must be a qualified electrician.
- Own tools for trade.
- Minium 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
- Have a current manual driver’s licence and have own transport to yard daily.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work within timelines to provide high quality standards.
- White card
- Professional presentation when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
- Additional tickets including EWP and/or Working at Heights will be highly regarded.
