Maintenance Execution Supervisor

Come and be part of something great. Our Poitrel mine in the Bowen Basin have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Execution Supervisor to fill critical leadership roles in our team. 

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, you will be responsible for the management and safe execution of maintenance activities for CAT Dozers, Haul Trucks and various other machinery, in accordance with the mine safety standards, procedures and defined processes to deliver optimal production outcomes.

This is a permanent opportunity, based at Poitrel Mine on a 7 day rotating day / night roster (7&7).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing safe compliance with operating standards, procedures, work instructions & defined processes to achieve optimal outcomes.
• identifying opportunities to improve the performance of people, processes and systems
• Improving fleet performance through quality maintenance practices
• Executing the maintenance plan
• Liaising with the wider Maintenance team to develop, validate and challenge the scope of work, including preparation requirements, isolation requirements and maintenance activities
• Liaising with the Planners & Schedulers to ensure schedule is updated during execution to reflect performance against plan
• Liaising with contracting partners for various activities

About You

Your background in a similar position or environment together with your exceptional communication skills will see you well placed to excel in this role. It is also essential that you demonstrate impeccable safety behavior.

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, the successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience with CAT Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (793F Haul Trucks, D11 & D10 Dozers, 16 & 18M Graders) 
• Demonstrated experience in leading a maintenance team in a frontline supervisory capacity.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and people management skills.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills including time management.
• Flexible / adaptable work style to be able to work within changing environments and work requirements
