Your opportunity to join our team
In this role you will be supporting our Maintenance team in attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to cover a Monday to Friday shift pattern and any overtime when the need arises in order to support the team.

Daily Tasks:
- Attend to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery
- Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime
- Develope maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders
- Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices
- Identify and escalate Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
You will bring to this role
- Australian mechanical trade qualification
- Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment
- Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems
- Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving
- Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
- Experience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantage
