We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our prestigious manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Industrial Maintenance, servicing, and maintaining large manufacturing machines used in the production of offshore floats.

Position:Mechanical Fitter
Pay Rate: $59 per hour (Flat Rate)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- Finish Time: 2:30 Pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of large manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines are operating efficiently.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop maintenance plans and strategies.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and parts used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Health and Safety: Health and safety are our number one priority. All relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, except for boots and pants, which must be supplied by the employee.
