Description
Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Undertake maintenance and operational tasks on a variety of machinery.
- Attending to breakdowns.
- Implement preventive maintenance procedures for all machinery and equipment.
- Verify and secure guards and safety devices, ensuring their optimal condition.
- Undertake project and developmental assignments as assigned.
- Collaborate in the planning and execution of machinery upgrades, retrofits, and system enhancements.
- Identifying areas for continuous improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and oversee consumable stock levels.
- Uphold workshop cleanliness standards for effective housekeeping.
- Complete all work order and time management documentation as specified by the Maintenance Manager.
Profile
To be considered for this role you will have/ be:
- Have a Mechanical Fitter qualification.
- A background in Manufacturing is a must.
- A forklift licence would be advantageous.
