AddressSynaco is currently seeking a skilled and proficient Maintenance Fitter with demonstrated expertise in servicing fixed plant equipment within a heavy industrial setting, for an esteemed Steel Company located in South Western Sydney. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive background in fault identification and diagnostics, coupled with a strong grasp of operational processes and maintenance protocols. Adeptness in addressing breakdown scenarios and fulfilling urgent requirements is essential for this role. We are in search of a self-driven individual who thrives in overcoming obstacles, exhibits a track record of meeting deadlines, and upholds a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Your duties will include:
- Preventative maintenance
- Reactive maintenance
- Mobile and fixed plant maintenance and repairs
- Repairs and maintenance to hydraulic systems
- Site works, minor fabrication jobs
To be considered for this role you will require the following:
- Australian recognized trade qualification
- Previous experience working on loaders, fixed plant including shearers, benders and conveyor systems would be an advantage.
- Current Driver’s License and own transport
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong computer skills
- Commitment to Health and Safety
