Your Role
Responsible for the maintenance and repairs, fault analysis and reporting of all pump equipment associated with the DAF Filtration System, Reverse Osmosis Plant, various potable water pump stations, the Sewerage Treatment Plant and associated pump stations. Ensure all work is carried out following the correct and safe procedures to achieve a high standard of product quality at all times.
You will be:
- Responsible for the mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to all pump equipment and associated machinery as required, ensuring timely completion and a high standard of product quality at all times
- Attend to all urgent repairs of any description required for guest comfort, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction at all times
- Responsible for the maintenance and security of all tools and equipment that are the property of HIE
- Ensure all labour hours, materials and information required for completion of work requisitions are accurately recorded and processed
- Ensure all allocated vehicles are maintained in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition at all times
- Provide assistance to any other tradesperson as directed
- Perform any additional tasks as requested by the Services Manager
About You
Your have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are friendly and helpful with a positive attitude. A team player, reliable and flexible in terms of shifts and rosters.,
You will have:
- Maintenance Fitter trade qualifications (Essential)
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience (Essential)
- QLD open/unrestricted driver's licence (Essential)
- Ability to be approved for and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (Essential)
- Previous experience in the Tourism/Resort industry (Desirable)
