Seeking 2 qualified Maintenance Fitters with experience within the manufacturing industry for work in Carrara, QLD.
Mon-Fri fixed per week+ OT on Saturday for shutdown maintenance.
ASAP start available with excellent pay rates on offer.
This position is responsible for maintaining equipment in order to achieve maximum production output.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Plan and undertake preventative scheduled maintenance as required
- Repair break downs on plant equipment as needed
- Ensure temporary repairs are reported to Management and plan for permanent repair to be finalised
- Ensure safety measures are operational and in line with statutory HSE
- Liaise with supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
- Tradesman Certificate Australian Certification
- Understanding of OHSE Policies and Principles
- Strong manufacturing industry knowledge with extensive experience in a similar role
- Abiliy to problem solve in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects
- Motivated and capable of working autonomously
