We have an excellent new position available for a passionate Maintenance Fitter to join our ResourceCo team based in Wingfield SA.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will maintain all plant equipment cost effectively and safely to eliminate downtime and injury.
You will have key responsibility in:
- Assisting the Workshop Manager and Site Supervisor in ensuring all matters are identified and appropriately addressed in a timely manner;
- Ensuring any breakdowns are attended to promptly, including after hours work;
- Preparing job costing for achieving the best outcome;
- Assisting the Group Engineer with new plant design;
- Crusher rebuild, specifically Symons Cone, Vickers Jaw, Pegson Jaw & Hazymag;
- Gearbox & bearing removal & refit;
- All facets of metal fabrication; and
- Assisting in training apprentices.
About you:
- Appropriate competency training;
- HD Fitter – Trade Certificate;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Forklift license;
- Preferred tickets - HR Drivers, SW@H, Riggers & Confined Space High Risk;
- Good organizational and planning skills;
- Self-motivated, and have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
