Reporting to the Operations Manager you will have proven experience providing technical knowledge and solutions for the hands-on day to day maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment.Β

π The Position:
The position is key to supporting the sites production team, improving reliability and carrying out preventative maintenance programs across the production area to minimise plant down time and improve the efficiency of the operation. You'll be immersed in a range of activities from day one, including:
- Performing breakdown maintenance efficiently
- Creating preventative maintenance schedules
- Fabrication works / Continuous improvement projects
- Prioritisation, planning and organising tasks
- Practicing safe work systems
- Diagnosis/fault finding techniques of mechanical equipment and rectification of faults
π Who You Are:
- Down to earth, reliable and value a team focussed environment
- Experience as a Fitter/boiler maker in manufacturing
- Competent to research and find maintenance equipment independently
- Absolute commitment to safe work systems
- Good level of IT literacy/ computer skills
