About the Role:
Evolve Scientific Recruitment is recruiting for day and/or afternoon shift Electro Mechanical Maintenance Fitters for this well-established global company.
This role is a full time, permanent opportunity and will be a rare opportunity to learn and work on state-of-the-art PLC high speed manufacturing lines.
Due to increased demand from satisfied clients within this booming industry, they are able to add to their Engineering team, which will support their continued growth.
You will supply effective and reliable mechanical and /or electrical services to all processing, packaging and site equipment as directed by the Engineering Manager.
- Flexibility to work on a split shift schedule Mon-Friday.
- 2 shifts on offer – flexible rotating day/ afternoon, or fixed afternoon 2-10pm.
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, whilst and maximising productivity.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Strictly follow safety procedures, Work Instructions.
- Liaise with Engineering Department to discuss problems and improvements.
- Relevant experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar in a FMCG setting - preferably liquids
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment using PLC systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
