Joining the team at ACC's Wellclose Property Group, near Charleville, the Maintenance Hand is primarily responsible for monitoring and maintaining various property infrastructure to ensure assets and infrastructure is kept in safe and good working order to support effective running of the station and importantly, the health and welfare of our livestock.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll work safely and autonomously to undertake a range of activities including:
- Fence Management: operation and upkeep of fence lines to ensure the safety and security of the property.
- Water Infrastructure Oversight: monitoring watering systems and installing new infrastructure to support continuous water supply.
- Feral Animal Control: Support the controlling and monitoring feral animal populations.
- Livestock Supplementation: Contribute to the development and execution of livestock supplementation programs

Along with being reliable& trustworthy, you'll have a positive attitude, and be physically fit and able to safely undertake the physical aspects of this role. In addition, our ideal candidate will bring the following:

- Driver's License: Holding a valid driver's license to facilitate property-wide mobility.
- Adherence to Safety: A commitment to following safety protocols and directions.

- Mechanically minded with an indepth knowledge of plant, equipment, tools and machinery
- Firearms Licence: Possessing (or have the ability to obtain one) an up-to-date firearms license for tasks related to feral animal control.
