Conveyancing1.1 Prepares conveyancing in relation to real property and securities transactions.1.2 Prepares settlement statements relating to real property and securities transactionsensuring accuracy in the disbursement and receipt of settlement proceeds.1.3 Arranges and co-ordinates the settlement of real property transactions on behalf of theDepartment.1.4 Calculates and prepares documentation for payment of settlement proceeds.1.5 Calculates fees, stamp duty and lists documentation for registration in accordance withLegislative Requirements.1.6 Satisfies any requisition issued to or required of the Department in relation to real property.1.7 Assists the Senior Conveyancer in more complex conveyancing matters.Essential criteria:1. Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of conveyancing tasks and work withinestablished settlement practices and procedures.2. High level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a rangeof people in various contexts.3. Experience in electronic conveyancing practices and procedures, including the use of anelectronic lodgement and financial settlement platform.4. Demonstrated commitment to providing a high standard of customer service.
