Maintenance Handyperon - Trade QualifiedPermanent Part-time position. 24 hours per week.We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Handyperson to perform a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of our facilities. You will have a strong background in general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and can efficiently address maintenance issues as they arise.Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues.Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building components.Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and well-maintained working environment.Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.Qualifications:Trade Qualification/s in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical and/or Refrigeration.Proven experience as a Maintenance Handyperson or similar role.Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques.Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.Ability to troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.Desirable:Maintenance Handyperson experience within a Aged Care facility and/or Hospital setting.
