About the role
You will have the opportunity to work on our high-end machinery which is used to create some of the best wines in the world.
- Ensure our fleet of heavy and light vineyard equipment is maintained and operational to the highest standards
- Ensure appropriate maintenance records are kept and updated
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Grow and develop junior staff in a supportive environment
About you
With a ‘no job is too small’ attitude, you will enjoy working in team of likeminded, equally passionate people (it also helps if you like wine and being in and around vineyards and wineries!).
What is most important is your attitude and your willingness to learn – we will be able to teach you what you need to know, so that you’re set up for success in this role.
- Trade qualifications as a Mechanic – Agriculture/ Heavy/ Light(or currently working towards your trade qualification)
- Experience working on a wide range of equipment,vehicles and engines, such as tractors, harvesters, sprayers and pruners
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical components
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work with a sense of urgency
- Good problem-solving skills and an ability to think outside the square
