About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and hardworking Maintenance Person to join our team on a full time basis!
Reporting directly to the Building Managers, this role is accountable for undertaking the maintenance of homes after the handover process is completed.
The Maintenance Person will play a key part in putting clients at ease whilst undertaking maintenance works as directed.
This position is perfect for someone who can do a bit of everything.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Undertake maintenance tasks such as but not limited to; general carpentry, plaster repairs and painting, door maintenance, caulking and other general maintenance
- Maintain regular communication with Maintenance Supervisors involved in maintenance works
- Ensure all work has been completed to VBA Standards and Tolerances and Mimosa Home Quality and Branding
- Schedule all inspections of sites with the relevant Maintenance Supervisor and/or Manager
- Attend regular meetings with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure all jobs are up to date or completed
To be considered, you should possess:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role is highly regarded
- Ability to meet customer satisfaction levels
- Solid knowledge of VBA standards and tolerances
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients in a positive and professional manner
