Join the Property Team at Beaconhills College.
We are seeking a Grounds Person with a background in horticulture to join Beaconhills College. This role is responsible for the the ongoing maintenance of the College's gardens and grounds. The keys duties for this role include:
- Assist with implementation of the College grounds masterplans
- Maintain the gardens and grounds at the College as directed and in accordance with the agreed maintenance plans.
- Assist with the plant propagation program for the College
- Maintenance and ongoing care of the gardens and grounds across both campuses (including, but not limited to) buying/sourcing materials/plants/seeds etc as needed for the gardens upkeep and presentation + fertilizing lawns, hedges, and shrubs + preventing and eliminating weeds
- Following maintenance schedules required for the use of and maintenance of equipment
- Conducting Irrigation audits and performing repairs to ensure the systems work effectively
Position details:
- This is a full time, permanent position
- The hours for this role are each Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:06pm
- Commencing immediately
- This position is a multi-campus role
- This position requires a current employee WWCC and police check
- Our ideal candidate will posses skills and qualifications in horticulture
