About the Role
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for long-term planning and coordination of resources, materials, and equipment for major maintenance shutdown projects to improve the productivity of Zenith’s power generating equipment. The key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out Long Term planning activities
- Develop Long Term maintenance plans, formulate maintenance schedules for maintenance tasks, to ensure equipment availability, ensure resources are adequately planned to avoid delays and downtime.
- Assist in the development of planned maintenance and standard job development for master data creation.
- Engage with the Short-Term planner (Scheduler) to ensure Long Term planning is scheduled effectively.
- Prepare work packs for the major works.
- Initiate and facilitate planning meetings with Site Mangers and Maintenance Execution team.
- Initiate and facilitate Post Shutdown (close out) review with Maintenance Execution Team to facilitate continuous process improvements
About You
You will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.
Experience
- Experience in planning of work around heavy mechanical equipment maintenance
- Experience using Pronto is desirable
Skills/Ability
- Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate in an open and clear manner.
- Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft office suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, teams.
- Strong research and analytical skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Clearances
- Electrical/ Mechanical trade certificate
- Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.
- Right to work in Australia
