MACA is on the hunt for a Maintenance Planner – Mobile Plant to join our mining business at McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project, working an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
The McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project is located 30km north of Nullagine in the north-east Pilbara region of WA. The three-year project scope includes mine load and haul of up to 10 million tonnes per annum, before being transported to Roy Hill for processing.
Working a family friendly 8/6 roster, the Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive maintenance schedules, prioritising maintenance tasks based on criticality and impact on production and analysing maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for producing a two (2) weekly plan, updated weekly.
- Collaborate with the Long-Term Planning team to plan for major component changeouts within a three (3) month horizon.
- Develop shut plans for safe and effective execution of major shut events.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., engineering, production, safety) to ensure that maintenance activities are properly integrated with other site activities and goals.
- Maintain an equipment and machinery database of the machines. Utilising the CMMS document upload where possible.
- Conduct final reviews of completed service packs
We are looking for:
- Trade Certification - Mechanical; Heavy Diesel desirable or a tertiary qualification. · A history in scheduling, Short or Long - Term Planning preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across asset management principles and standards.
- Previous experience 1-3 years’ short term maintenance scheduling in an active mining environment.
- Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite
