The Opportunity
The Maintenance Projects Manager is primarily responsible for the delivery of a program of works for asset replacement projects across Transgrid's network. The role also oversees the delivery of programs to install telecommunications infrastructure, connection upgrades for Distribution Network Service Providers and minor augmentation works.
With your exceptional stakeholder management skills, you will work closely with multiple teams in Infrastructure Development, Finance, Asset Management, and Procurement. This role will require a highly organized individual to coordinate a significant amount of work across Transgrid sites.
Additionally, you will be responsible for guiding, mentoring, and coaching any project engineers, site managers, or graduates assigned to the team.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level or substantial equivalent experience
- Qualifications in project management or substantial equivalent experience
- Qualifications to Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or willingness to achieve.
- Extensive industry experience in the development and delivery of technology based projects
- Extensive Industry experience in the delivery of simultaneous projects
- Extensive experience in leading multiple work groups
- Extensive experience in contract management
- Experience in managing direct reports
- Highly skilled in negotiating project scope, cost, schedule and risk across multiple stakeholders
