Doral Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (DMS), mines and processes heavy mineral sands in the Mandurah, Bunbury and Busselton regions in the Southwest of WA. This multi-faceted role will provide an excellent opportunity if you enjoy a challenge and being an integral part of a small, motivated maintenance team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent and based at our Picton (near Bunbury) site, the ideal candidate will have experience in a purchasing and stores organisation role.
The position will be responsible for the successful completion of the following duties and roles:
- Provide the Expertise necessary to drive the development and continuous improvement of the CMMS in relation to work orders, backlog, maintenance, inspection, lubrication schedules and shut downs.
- Update and Keep records of maintenance activities, BOMs and spares.
- Provide input into the cost and effectiveness of stores and inventory levels within the operation
- Manage the re order and control of stores stock.
- Liaise with and provide assistance to Accounts for stores reporting and Purchase Order control
Key factors to your success include;
- Experience in fixed plant maintenance
- Forklift ticket or experience
- Solid numeracy and literacy skills
- Knowledge of Pronto (especially inventory and purchasing)
- Competent with the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills
- A genuine commitment to the well being and safety for yourself and your work colleagues
- Current A class drivers license
