About the role
Mercy Community Aged Care Service is seeking the next superstar to fill our Maintenance Supervisor role based in Rockhampton. This is a Permanent Full-Time role. This position is responsible for management and coordination of the regular and preventative maintenance of Facility buildings, plant and equipment and grounds as per the maintenance schedule.
$41.27 - $43.09/hr base rate pending qualifications/experience + superannuation and options for salary sacrifice.
The duties of the role entails but not limited to:
- Manage, coordinate the maintenance of the facility building, equipment and grounds
- Review staffing levels, scope of practice and rosters
- Monthly reports and reviewing budget variances
- Foster an inclusive workplace where health, safety and wellbeing are promoted
- Manage the emergency response procedures across facilities
- Implement strategies to ensure continuous improvement and quality assurance
About you
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role including supervisor or leadership responsibilities
- Experience or knowledge within Healthcare or Aged Care or Community Service
- Trade qualification is desirable but not essential
- Current QLD drivers licence
