Join Thales Australia's Dynamic Team as a Maintenance Support Coordinator!
Report to the Maintenance Manager and support our operations in Benalla - Relocation Assistance provided if required
Coordinate with Trade Maintenance and Engineering teams to source and purchase replacement parts and tools
Liaise with external contractors for routine assessment of storage racks, hoists, forklifts and other lifting gears

What Success Looks Like:
As a pivotal part of the wider Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Coordinator is the ‘go-to’ person for parts ordering, arranging external contractors to maintain the plant and providing updates to changes in standards and legislation. To succeed, the employee will collaborate with tradespeople and engineers. Seeking to understand, communicating clearly and keeping an accurate plant register will contribute to the incumbent’s success.
Key Activities and Responsibilities include:
Keep the register for plant and equipment inspection up-to-date
Research regulatory compliance requirements of services to assist the team with maintaining the compliance regime.
Updating plant documentation to reflect any changes, i.e. drawings, asset location changes, new assets, etc
Preparing and implementing compliance-related procedures and work instructions.
To excel in this role, you will need:
Trade qualification or any Engineering training
Experience in inspecting, testing and documenting conditions of plant
Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and how to research Australian Standards
Previous experience with pneumatics will be regarded
