The Role
Are you ready to move up from a tradesman position and advance your technical maintenance career by leading the maintenance activities that are conducted within a workshop facility? Well this is the next step in your career. This role will provide you with opportunity to learn and experience new maintenance processes and procedures for a large range of high tech Military equipment.
As a Maintenance Systems Officer you will have you the opportunity to exhibit your skills by undertaking complex production management activities and tasks. You will be required to work within a framework of legislation, established principles, work practices and procedures in accordance with Defence’s mission and objectives.
This role requires a leader and problem solver as you take on the responsibility for accurate completion of the work and investigate solutions for complex or ambiguous issues. In this role you will gain valuable experience in team management, meeting deadlines and accuracy by:
- Maintaining oversight of all Maintenance/Production Control Section (MCS) activities.
- Planning and managing the conduct of internal audits as detailed in the Maintenance Organisation's Engineering Management System Directive.Managing all relevant electronic Maintenance Systems to ensure data integrity of all maintenance information collected.
About our Team
The team is made up of a unique mix of military and Australian Public Service personnel maintaining a large variety of military equipment within 22SQN and is located at RAAF Base Richmond.
