Maintenance Technician

We are seeking applications for the position of Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical systems and automated test systems for testing Switchgear and PCB assemblies. The successful applicant will enjoy being part of an organization taking Australian technology to the world, and will need to perform the following tasks:

• Assist in maintenance and repair of test equipment, test fixtures and assemblies
• Provide engineering support to production testing
• Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolving of faults in electronic test equipment 
• Conduct investigations in a documented and controlled manner, and create report
• Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist in performing preventive maintenance of automated test systems

Reporting to Electronics Engineering Manager, to succeed in this role the successful candidate will possess the following attributes: 

• 3+ years’ experience in an Electronics/Maintenance Technician role
• Working knowledge of electrical and electronics test equipment
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematic diagrams
• Extensive hands-on experience in soldering, wiring, and general fit-out of measurement and control equipment
• Take a systematic approach to challenges, and ability to create and maintain technical documents
• Attention to detail
• Excellent personal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
