The Opportunity

As the largest global crushing contractor, we have multiple operations across our owner operated Iron Ore and Lithium sites and with Tier 1 client sites, such as BHP, Rio Tinto, Roy Hill and KCGM.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking Maintenance Tool and Store person to join Field Services Maintenance Team for current and future opportunities.

These roles are full time positions based on a 2/1 roster and can allow you to grow your skill set with on-site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader. You can expect to travel to multiple owner operated and client sites to perform scheduled shutdowns, maintenance and attend breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering directly to Maintenance Service Superintendents and Supervisors.
  • The roster is a flexible 2/1 working 12-hour days.
  • Maintain and operate stores and workshop, oversee issuing and returning equipment.
  • Load, haul and unload Maintenance Service facilities and equipment, responsible for securing all loads.
  • Work with and assist shutdown and projects crews.
  • Travel to site before the shut / project team to set up and prepare the equipment and facilities.
  • Driving a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle.
  • Complete daily checks and maintain accurate service records for vehicle.
  • Housekeeping and cleanliness of the vehicles.

What is required:

  • Demonstrated safety commitment.
  • Tool Store experience/ Trade Experience Desirable
  • Strong written and verbal skills and basic tablet or computer skills
  • Current Australian Driver's License (Medium or Heavy Rigid)
  • Confined Space with Gas Testing
  • Working at Heights
  • Australian Work Rights
  • National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
