Maintenance Tradesperson

We are seeking a Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team undertaking commissioning repairs and preventative maintenance of site plant and equipment in addition to general maintenance fitting and assembly tasks. 

 Typical duties of this role include:

• Servicing and repairs of plant and equipment including assembly and disassembly of pumps, centrifuges and other rotating equipment including mechanical seal installation.
• Removal and replacement of mechanical drives, gear boxes, couplings, pulleys, chains including belts and bearings.
• Repairing solenoids, fittings, hose connections, hydraulics and pneumatics (basic level) and controls.
• Undertaking general maintenance tasks as required.
• Fabrication and repairs using Arc, Tig or Mig welding processes.

 Skills and Experience

• Hold a Mechanical Fitting or relevant trade qualification (minimum Cert III).
• Sound general mechanical, engineering knowledge and aptitude. 
• Advanced fitting and diagnostic skills.
• Current Drivers and Forklift licence.
• Experience in working in confined spaces and on elevated platforms is desirable. 
• Prior experience in a winery or food production facility desirable. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Competitive wages on offer for the right candidate, in addition to five weeks annual leave and two weeks RDO leave. Shift and weekend work during the peak vintage period.
