About the role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant for the Major Capital is a twelve-month temporary role that will work in conjunction with the Project Director - Clinical to support the development and implementation of contemporary service delivery models and clinical commissioning for the new infrastructure programs within West Moreton Health.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC):
* has an expert level of professional clinical practice and skills in acute service delivery;
* has an advanced level of decision making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team;

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated expert level of contemporary clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex acute clinical practice.
* Demonstrated understanding of the interface between clinical service delivery and building/infrastructure design within a health context
* Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, consultation and communication skills to deal with the needs and concerns of internal stakeholders and health service partners, including the ability to manage people and situations flexibly and responsively.
* Demonstrated effective change management expertise and ability to lead and manage complex change, utilising contemporary methodology to lead and motivate all clinicians to embrace change and evidence-based improvement.
* Demonstrated high level written communication skills in preparation of documents such as reports, meeting papers, plans and submissions.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties
