The Role
Our clients are currently seeking a skilled Management Accountant to oversee and optimise their budgeting and reporting processes. In this critical role, you will ensure that financial operations are not only cost-effective and efficient but also aligned with their strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with the Senior Accountant and supporting business stakeholders, you will be instrumental in solidifying the reporting function.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the comprehensive budget process, emphasizing forecasting and accurate costing.
- Providing detailed financial and commercial analysis to enhance the financial health and flexibility of operations.
- Delivering accurate and timely management reports, analysing variances from budget, and highlighting key trends and issues.
- Implementing and overseeing necessary procedures within financial systems to maintain and enhance their effectiveness.
- Ad hoc project tasks as directed by the Financial Controller
About you!
Ideally, you will be degree qualified with CA/CPA. You will have proven experience with integrated financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Strong reporting abilities and excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build relationships across all management levels.
