The Opportunity:
We are now looking for a Management Accountant to oversee Emerald Coaches and the Baulch Group based at our Noosa office.

About the role
This full time multi-faceted position is suited to an appropriately skilled, self-motivated and energetic person with the ability to work autonomously within a small team.
As the Management Accountant, your role will include responsibility for:
- Line management of the Accounts Administrator;
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Financial Modelling;
- Assist in compiling the annual budget with senior management;
- Management of Debtor and Creditors;
- Payroll and processing;
- Balance sheet reconciliations;
- Fuel Card Management;
- Financial accounting;
- General ledger management;
- Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget and KPI's;
- Responsible for BAS, FTC, and other ATO submissions;
- Maintain and manage the Fixed assets & CAPEX;
- Assume responsibility of accounting procedures in line with the quality management system;
- Analysing trends and financial performance across the depots;
- Taking part in systems' and process improvement initiatives; and identifying measures to minimise financial risk;
- Other related tasks as and when required.
Skills and experience
- Relevant Business/Finance related degree
- Management skills
- Experience using Xero is highly desirable
- Minimum five years experience in a similar role
- Professional Accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting
- High proficiency in Excel
- Good communication and planning skills
- Time management skills
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail
