MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT NEEDED
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Management Accountant to join our company on a full-time basis.
Established in 1997, Australian owned and family operated, JT laundry offers a professional and personalised laundry rental service to all industries across Melbourne and regional Victoria. With our large range of fleet trucks our drivers are on the road 5 days a week servicing Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our company prides itself on having a high calibre team focused on always meeting the needs of the customer to the highest standards.
The Role
· Provide advice on strategic and financial planning and risk management to assist management in decision making and goal setting.
· Assisting in the production of the annual budgets and periodic forecasting and managing capital expenditure.
· Provide insight into cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and quality improvement initiatives.
· Producing and presenting financial statements, analysis, and commentaries to management.
· Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Assist management in negotiating on major projects, loans, and grants.
· Reporting on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets.
· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
· Maintain adequate records and support auditing efforts.
· Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations as well as data integrity.
· Prepare various operational reports (periodic and ad hoc) for internal use by the management.
· Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
· 2 years + experience in a commercial environment
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with high level skills with Microsoft Excel.
· Proficiency in Xero a must and experience in Linentech an advantage
· Exceptional written and Verbal communication skills
· Well organised and able to work autonomously and within a team
· Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
· Positive attitude and good work ethic
