Management Accountant

The Company:

Our client is an Australian Agri-business with nationwide operations, holding a proven track record for success, a dynamic and approachable senior leadership team where a positive learning environment is fundamental to their structure.

This role has become available due to a significant level of investment and growth within the organisation.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager & CFO. This is a key role in the existing structure that will be responsible for monthly reporting and analysis, supporting in the budget and forecasting processes and liaising with a number of internal stakeholders.

Duties will include;

• Month end accounting and reporting - reconciliations, analysis, and commentary.
• Financial Reporting - P&L and Balance sheet reporting and analysis.
• Provide key support in monthly forecasting process.
• Work with management on annual budget preparation and development.
• Provide high quality financial analysis and reporting on weekly basis.
• Prepare GL accounts and reconciliations.
• Manage relationship with key senior internal stakeholders.
• Support with ongoing continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

• CA/CPA qualified accountant.
• Strong communicator, good interpersonal skills.
• Big 4 audit experience, highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using XERO, Excel, Microsoft platforms, preferable.
• Understanding of systems such as Agworld, Figured and / or FloQast, ideal but not essential, (training will be provided).
