Role Overview:
The Management Accountant will ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency by providing accurate financial information, analysis, and insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- A 50/50 mix of Financial Accounting and Finance Business Partnering
- Contribute to the month-end process, including posting accrual journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and present quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Assist with the annual audit and prepare annual withholding tax returns.
- Prepare quarterly & annual reports and surveys for relevant authorities.
- Support financial efficiency by working with department heads to optimise resource allocation and control costs.
- Develop financial models and analysis to understand cost structures and value drivers.
- Provide high-quality, timely monthly management reports and re-forecast expenses monthly.
- Assist in creating annual budgets and ensure adherence to them.
Must-Have Skills:
- Organisation skills and budgeting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Software Proficiency:
- Intermediate/Advanced level Excel
- Sun Systems G/L preferred

Preferred Profile:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of performing financial reporting, budget management, and providing business insights.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills.
- Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA) preferred but not required.
