Role Overview:
The Management Accountant will ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency by providing accurate financial information, analysis, and insights to support decision-making processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• A 50/50 mix of Financial Accounting and Finance Business Partnering
• Contribute to the month-end process, including posting accrual journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and present quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements.
• Assist with the annual audit and prepare annual withholding tax returns.
• Prepare quarterly & annual reports and surveys for relevant authorities.
• Support financial efficiency by working with department heads to optimise resource allocation and control costs.
• Develop financial models and analysis to understand cost structures and value drivers.
• Provide high-quality, timely monthly management reports and re-forecast expenses monthly.
• Assist in creating annual budgets and ensure adherence to them.

 
Must-Have Skills:

• Organisation skills and budgeting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in financial reporting and management accounting.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

 
Software Proficiency:

• Intermediate/Advanced level Excel
• Sun Systems G/L preferred

Preferred Profile:

• Tertiary qualification in accounting with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of performing financial reporting, budget management, and providing business insights.
• Effective stakeholder engagement skills.
• Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA) preferred but not required.
