What you'll be doing
Provide management accounting support to Corporate Management Accountant & NSW Health Pathology Executive and operational areas. Assisting in completion of end of month requirements pertaining to Management Accounting and Revenue Services, as well as monthly performance reporting for individual Pathology Networks.

- Recent Graduate with successful attainment of relevant University Degree majoring in Accounting with the willingness to attain membership in a professional Accounting body.
- Detailed understanding of accounting theory including performance reporting and budget development with understanding of the principles around budget maintenance and reporting results against an agreed budget.
- Ability to meet deadlines and plan workload so that customer expectations are met. Strong problem solving ability in terms of understanding how to resolve day to day issues and, where required, who to contact or advise in order to gain assistance to ensure the issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Capacity to build, develop and sustain positive partnerships and productive working relationships with all levels of staff both internal and external.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, as well as the ability to use the tools within Microsoft Excel to import and massage large volumes of transactions in a format that will assist analysing financial results.
- Effective communication skills with proven ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
