The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of the business. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective utilisation, maintenance, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities

• Management of the Month end process including balance sheet reconciliation
• Conduct regular assessments of asset performance, depreciation, and valuation.
• Manage the asset lifecycle, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.
• Determine trends & provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and budget for asset-related expenses.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, including asset registers, depreciation schedules, and variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in management accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, asset valuation methods, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
