Job Summary

This is an exciting role in a purpose-driven organization. We would like to have an experienced hands-on Management Consultant to join us to work closely with the CEO and provide strategic and operational oversight to the work of the human resources, financial management, work health and safety, communication, fundraising, marketing, video production, Bible school, IT and operational administration. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience, with a hunger to be part of a growing evangelism team. While your skills and experience are important, a positive, optimists and can-do attitude is also what we’re looking for. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Promote the vision, mission and values of ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions to staff, funding bodies, and other external agencies and ensure that all staff are aware of and adhere to mission, vision, values, policies and procedures;
• Provide organization direction by undertaking ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­analysis of the internal and external environment that affects ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions and identifying continuous quality improvements, organizational development and growth opportunities;
• To oversee the operational and project management, ensuring structures and systems are in place and coordinated effectively to meet the needs of organization. This includes overseeing our policies, procedures and HR requirements;
• To implement and manage the operational changes for the longer-term objectives through the provision of the effective management and coordination of activities;
• Establishing employment and administrative policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the nonprofit.
• Ensure all licensing and reporting to various organizations is kept up to date. 
• Evaluate current systems to identify and discuss and remedy organizational limitations through formulating strategies to improve efficiency of organization's resources.
• Engage with the CEO and key business stakeholders directly to discuss the organization's particularities and identify any relative organization shortcoming within the current business environment.
• To ensure best practice operation and management of financial and accounting systems (in a timely accurate manner) including:
• Deliver analysis, identify, evaluate, and implement solutions including major strategy, governance or business process improvements.
• Manage a high-volume postproduction process that encompasses everything from budgeting and development to delivery of content to TV and radio stations, social media and online platforms;
• To ensure best practice operation and management of financial and accounting systems (in a timely accurate manner) including:

                  - Financial budgeting and forecasting

                  - Accounts payable and receivable

                 - Cash and funds management

                 - Taxation & statistical returns

                 - Payroll, and

                 - Regular analysis and reporting of results

• Ensure financial records are maintained to a standard to meet required audit standards and to assist auditor in completing annual and other specific audits;
• Ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions mission, vision, values, policies and procedures and are clear on their respective roles, responsibilities and level of authority;
• Ensure staff are provided with an annual performance review against the agreed KPI’s for their positions;
• Maintain a supportive, productive culture in the work environment and promptly address performance or conduct concerns;
• Ensure timely response to all Workplace Health and Safety issues including regular monitoring and review all service-related accidents or incidents;
• Develop, lead and manage fundraising and donor engagement and retention strategies, objectives and activities, thus enabling the ministry to carry out its mission of sharing the gospel with the world through media and public evangelism;
• Ensure ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions communication and marketing plan is developed taking into account the requirement for a strategic approach to external and internal communication to the range of stakeholders;
• Ensure all ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions’ publications are planned, developed, designed and printed in line with ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Eternity Media Productions’ strategic directions, and within budget.

Other concurrent Responsibilities (Evangelism and Bible school) 

• Manage public evangelistic campaigns 
• Oversee and expand Bible school operations
• Manage building relationships with various stakeholders—including viewers, listeners, Bible students and churches and church members. 

The successful applicant will not just be passionate about sharing the Gospel of Christ through creative and Biblically based content, but would also have the follow skills and abilities:

Qualifications and education requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of doctrinal stance on a variety of Christian subjects specific to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and ability to ensure they are presented in a Biblical and evangelistic manner is a must
• Bachelor or higher qualification or 5 years full time work experience in absence of formal qualifications
• Proven project/administration management experience (preferably in a non-for-profit environment)(minimum 5 years)
• Proven business management and operations experience (minimum 5 years)
• Experience in fundraising,  budgeting, PR, TV and radio, social media, and managing websites is desirable but not necessary 
• Effective communication is a key skill
• Strong people management skills
• Ability to develop and lead effective teams (employees and volunteers)
• Identifying with and driving the vision and the mission of the organization.

The full-time role will entail 38 hours of work per week at our head office located at Dora Creek, NSW 2264.
