About the role
We’re seeking an influential warehousing professional responsible for the outcomes of our 3PL provider at our Laverton National Distribution Centre to ensure warehouse meets specific goals. You will need to have a strategic mindset identifying value creation opportunities and support programs to achieve objectives, goals, strategies and measures. You will have oversight of NDC operation to ensure that the site is managed efficiently and effectively by the 3PL teams.
Other responsibilities
Manage accountability of the 3PL provider on site to ensure operational outcomes are achieved
Collaborate with the onsite team day-to-day to ensure operational and service objectives are met
Identify and support delivery of network efficiencies through partnering with logistics team, network partners & suppliers to drive project objectives
Delivery of key projects for transformation.
About you
Strong focus on safety
Solid experience as a leader for large warehouse or 3PL environments
Knowledge of logistics networks, transport and warehouse
Demonstrated relationship and contract management skills
Project Management skills and the ability to deliver results through others
Good technical skills with warehouse systems - TMS/LMS/WMS or SAP would be an advantage.
