The hospital is also a leader in innovation and adoption of new technologies, including the implementation of robotic surgical devices and virtual reality imaging technology.Your role at St John of God Subiaco HospitalResponsible for the operational management of the Allied Health team/s and services for the hospital. This position will have both leadership/management responsibilities and may carry a clinical caseload.The PositionManage the day to day operations of Allied Health services, ensuring that they are consistent with the Divisions strategic and operational objectives to deliver connected and consumer focused health care.Ensures that the workforce is rostered effectively to enable expert clinical services within the Clinical Services Plan and productivity forecasts.Monitors key performance and financial indicators and takes appropriate action to address variance.Uses advanced clinical knowledge and experience to develop, evaluate and improve Allied Health services and to assist the various Allied Health professionals to develop new services to meet changing needs and demands.As part of the hospital's senior clinical leadership team, the Manager Allied Health will work in partnership with other clinical units to ensure clinical and business objectives are met.Participate in Manager Meetings as well as relevant committees and working parties.Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with relevant internal and external professional groups to build and enhance service delivery on a divisional and group-wide basis.Provide leadership, through effective personal, professional communication, and interpersonal capabilities and change management as well as team and strategic capabilities - as outlined in the SJGHC Leadership Profile You will have a tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline and registration or membership with the relevant Board or Association, with significant contemporary experience in a senior Allied Health clinical position, and knowledge and ability to provide leadership in a complex, professional work environment and influence the achievement of required outcomes in areas of professional responsibility.To succeed you will possess ability to facilitate and manage change, and implement new initiatives, actively market and promote the Allied Health services provided by the hospital.
