Job Summary You will be responsible for maintaining effective accounting and statutory reporting in line with business objectives and Head Office and Australian reporting requirements as well as provides additional support to ensure that all financial records are accurate and finalised on a timely basis.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As the Manager, APAC HO and Regulatory Reporting (6 month contract), you will be responsible for maintaining effective accounting and statutory reporting in line with business objectives and Head Office and Australian reporting requirements as well as provides additional support to ensure that all financial records are accurate and finalised on a timely basis.What will you do?

  • Shared responsibility for preparation of Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority Returns.
  • Shared responsibility for preparation of Head Office financial reports.
  • Shared responsibility for preparation of the returns for the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
  • Shared responsibility for preparation of the returns for the Australian Stock Exchange
  • Preparation of all supporting documentation, schedules and reconciliations required in the performance of the above-mentioned reports.
  • Responsibility for the collation and storage of all Finance procedures manuals.
  • Participate in enhancements initiatives to the APAC Finance reporting processes / structures

  • Industry experience
  • Strong knowledge in APRA reporting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Competent PC skills
  • Sound accounting experience
  • Excellence in working with various applications to extract data, manipulate and analyse reports
  • Accurate and methodical with ability to verify/proof numbers on reports
  • Critical to be a good cultural fit for the team / good interpersonal and team skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to complete assigned tasks within reporting deadlines
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of APRA, ABS and ASX returns and related requirements
  • Qualified Accountant CA, CPA or Qualified by Experience
  • Highly developed PC skills - Microsoft programs
  • Good written communication skills, verbal reasoning and listening skills
