The Townsville Hospital and Health Services are seeking an experienced and outcome driven Manager Asset Performance to join the Infrastructure Office for a permanent full-time role.
The Manager Asset Performance supports the development and maintenance of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service Strategic Asset Management Plan by providing analyses and advice to support evidenced based asset management decision making.

The opportuity The Infrastructure Office is responsible to support the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS) facilitation of safe, effective and sustainable healthcare services through best practice:
- Capital works project development and delivery.
- Asset management functions and capability.
- Space management functions and capability.
- Commercial property and lease management functions.
The Manager Asset Performance will support the Manager of Asset Strategy providing strategic leadership and direction and day-to-day management of the Townville HHS asset management delivery function and capability.
Generous remuneration package value up to $144,003 p.a. comprising:
- Salary rates between $4485.60 - $4837.70 p.f. (PO4)
- Annual leave loading + leave

Role requirements
- Possession of a Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Structural / Civil) from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Possession of a relevant Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Structural / Civil) from a recognised Australian tertiary institution or equivalent
- Demonstrate at least 5 years prior experience working in Asset Management in a complex multi-faceted organisation.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of and experience of working with Asset Management principles of ISO 55000 Asset Management, Statutory Acts, Regulations and Standards applicable to Buildings and Engineering Services in a major multidisciplinary organisation.
- Experience and understanding of long-term asset planning, understanding of quality and asset management systems.
- Experience and understanding of Asset Performance monitoring and reporting.
- Leadership in Health Safety and Risk management.
- Stakeholder communication and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work and think independently to improve systems and processes that implement meaning change.
- Experience in the collection and analyses of large data bases to drive innovation and change in the management of assets across the organisation.
