About the role

  • Leverage your expertise to support and grow volunteer fundraising

  • Full-time, ongoing, hybrid role.

Working towards a new 2030 Strategic Plan under a new CEO, the RCH Foundation has ambitious growth and innovation targets, including leveraging the passionate, dedicated support of highly engaged community fundraisers.

Building on 100+ years of life-changing support for our sickest children, this is your opportunity to manage the RCH Auxiliaries, providing leadership for 300 dedicated volunteer fundraising members in this full time, ongoing role. You’ll also bring new ideas to harness generational change, thereby attracting younger members, developing a pipeline of members, increasing revenues, and building long-term sustainability.

A ‘natural people person,’ you will not only manage critically important relationships for the Foundation, but you will also oversee the Foundation’s public-facing, onsite retail store – a key driver of revenue and brand engagement.

Managing a team of four, you will enjoy being a people leader, and will thrive on creating opportunities to grow your own development, and that of your team.

ABOUT YOU

  • You thrive on leveraging your fundraising and relationship management skills to grow community support, awareness and sentiment
  • You like tapping into your strategic acumen to identify opportunities for growth and innovation, while also overseeing operational and administrative tasks
  • As a self-starter and a continual learner, you enjoy keeping abreast of fundraising trends to craft high-performing community campaigns
  • You are confident leading your function and team, but know when and how to consult others to keep work moving, to achieve the best results and to avoid risk.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • A highly supportive team which consistently rates its culture as one of the best things about working at the RCH Foundation
  • Access to a dedicated learning and development commitment, prioritising your personal development and mental health and wellbeing
