This is a recruitment pool for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and /or permanency.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and passionate person to the position of Manager, Board and Policy Governance.
This critical position has primary oversight of the management and coordination of the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Board’s governance and operations, and is also responsible for the strategic leadership of an effective whole of organisation corporate and clinical policy framework system.
This role also provides high level strategic analysis and advice to the WACHS Board, Executive and Committees on governance, assurance and Policy activities and matters (including relevant legislative and accreditation requirements).
To be successful in this role, the applicant must have:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level secretariat support to a Board or Executive Committee within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills at a senior level, in particular leading a team to address and achieve organisational objectives and needs.
- Experience in the development and management of strategic policy at an organisational level.
Any successful applicant must also be able to travel regionally within Western Australia up to five (5) times per calendar year as part of the WACHS Board’s regional engagement program.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2025.
